Ethos
- The rules exist to protect and foster fun gameplay, roleplay, and create a welcoming environment. We want the server to be a place where friends can play together, new friends can be made, and experiences can be created and shared throughout the community in good faith, and never at the personal expense of others. For this, we believe the intent of the rules are more important than their exact wording.
- Our staff strive to be leaders and protectors, not enforcers. They exist to guide the community, not strictly to enforce the rules set out here. As before, good faith and intent are more important than wording.
Core Rules
- ⚹01. Do not harass or be cruel to other users, for any reason.
- - This includes insult-based banter. Staff cannot be expected to know who is a good-enough-pal of you that insults are just "jokes", alongside the fact that we do not wish for players to feel unsafe reporting "banter" in fear of repercussions.
- ⚹02. Do not post, link to, or provide instructions to access illegal or adult material. Sexual and NSFW content is prohibited both in-game and on the TeguStation Discord server.
- ⚹03. Do not use real slurs, or fictional slurs based on real slurs.
- - This includes gestures, whether real or fictional, that could be construed as deeply offensive, e.g. the Nazi/Roman salute.
- ⚹04. Do not attack or vilify other communities.
- ⚹05. Do not evade bans or use multiple accounts.
- ⚹06. Do not use an account name that is offensive or breaks core rules.
- ⚹07. Do not ask admins to overturn the rulings of other admins. If you disagree with a ruling, please don't hesitate to file a staff report on the forums!
- ⚹08. Do not advertise anything without senior staff permission.
Server Rules

- ⚹12. Do not talk about the current game in OOC, or outside the server.
- - This includes commenting on the actions or play of other players.
- - If the behavior is offensive or violates any of the server rules, please contact a staff member!
- ⚹13. Do not touch or take from AFK/SSD characters under normal circumstances.
- - It is acceptable to move the AFK character out of the danger's way or to take items(i.e. ID to open airlock) that you need for your own immediate safety. Otherwise - it is advised to contact staff members.
- ⚹14. Do not quit play through suicide, disconnect while in play, or AFK for an extended period as roles of high importance(command, antagonists) without notifying server staff.
- - This includes hiding in lockers.
- - If you cannot ahelp in-game - try to notify the staff in Discord's #help channel.
- ⚹15. Do not engage in ERP.
